Volunteers make it happen!
Ivory’s Rock has introduced simple procedures to keep volunteers and visitors safe. Everyone sanitises, completes a questionnaire and may have their temperature taken. On site we maintain social-distancing, and do not share food. Additional cleaning procedures are in place in all common areas.

Retreats, Projects and Volunteer Weekends
Due to drought and hungry wallabies, the Gardens in the Pavilion were sadly empty. Volunteers turned up for a working beee and replanted beds with drought and wallaby-resistant plants, plus watered and weeded. Thank you! Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 September 10am to 4pm – Ivory’s Rock Pavilion.
Recent projects include:
Painting Green Bathroom Block with Yellow Block now underway.
1,000 Koala trees planted to provide fodder for a local rescue organisation feeding sick and orphaned koalas.
Clearing and landscaping 3km of walking track, which now completes the walking circuit of Ivorys Rock itself.
Refurbishing of cabins
Murals painted on the outside of the bunkhouses.
Creek regeneration and landcare.
We plan to hold volunteer weekends on a regular basis, most likely once per month.
