International Flights

Group flights and custom made flights can be booked with Travel Bestway.

Coaches & Shuttles

Daily coaches are available for guests to the Amaroo event on 10 to 14 September operating from some Ipswich and Brisbane hotels. Please book your coaches when you register for the event.

There are also onsite shuttles that operate between IRCE Reception, Jacaranda and Sandy Creek campgrounds, and the Pavilion.

An amphitheatre bus operates from the Pavilion area to take guests to the amphitheatre if they prefer not to walk up the hill. Please book this bus when you register for the event.

An onsite Special Needs bus operates exclusively for people with special needs and medical conditions who register with Special Needs.

Please note: The fee for daily coaches to/from Ipswich or Brisbane is a separate charge to the registration fee. The amphitheatre bus is a separate fee (those needing the Special Needs bus also pay this fee). The airport coach is also a separate fee.

Airport Transfers to and from Amaroo

Please book your transport when you register for the event.

Airport to Amaroo

Coaches will run from the Brisbane International and Domestic Airport to Ivory’s Rock Conventions & Events Centre (Amaroo) from tbc.

Coaches to/from Amaroo do not stop at Hotels.

Amaroo to the Airport

Coaches will depart from Ivory’s Rock Conventions & Events (Amaroo) on tbc.

Directions to Coaches at Airport

You will be met at the airport by an Airport Co-ordinator who will greet you and direct you towards your coach.

At Brisbane International airport:
Turn left as you enter the arrivals hall (after Customs)
Proceed to the end of the hall
Go down the ramp signed Buses and Coaches to where your bus will be waiting.

At Brisbane Domestic airport:
Exit the airport building and take the travelator or lift to the Skywalk (the overhead pedestrian bridge to the carpark)
On the Skywalk keep to the right and on the same level until you reach the sign Buses and Coaches (via lift to L1, via Travelator)
Take the travelator or lift to Level 1, where your bus will be waiting.

Instructions On Bus:
The bus driver will load your luggage on the bus according to the colour of your luggage label (see note below).
The bus will take you directly to your campground.
If you need help with Registration at the IRCE Reception, let the bus driver know and the bus will drop you there first.

Note:
Please tag your luggage with a large label in the same colour as your campground.  (eg: Jacaranda = black, Sandy Creek = Blue, Grey, Green, Yellow, Brown, Orange, Purple or Red). The coloured labels make sure that your luggage is loaded on the correct bus in the correct order. This reduces wait times at the airport and gets you on the road to Amaroo faster!

Coaches to/from Amaroo do not stop at Brisbane or Ipswich Hotels. If you book together as a group this will reduce the cost of the shuttles per person.

Train Services

Brisbane Airport train station is located at both the Domestic & International terminal, to Brisbane Central Station or on to Ipswich. For prices and time table, use either of these links.

On the first day, Monday 10 September Coaches will depart at 9.00am
On the following days Tuesday to Friday Coaches will depart from Ipswich at 8am. Coaches will depart IRCE Pavilion exactly one hour after the last event of the day concludes.

Onsite Buses

Onsite shuttle buses operate between IRCE Reception, Jacaranda Campgrounds, Amaroo Farm and the Pavilion.  These are free of charge and run regularly before and after events.

Amphitheatre Bus:

Onsite buses run from the Pavilion to the amphitheatre and return. These are for the use of people who opt not to walk up the hill. These run before and after events.

Please book the amphitheatre bus when you register for the event.

Pick up pass at Information Booth in Pavilion (shop 29), prior to first event. The information booth will be operational from 7 September.
