Tucked away in a quiet corner of Queensland, Australia, is Amaroo – which means ‘a beautiful place’ in one of the local Aboriginal dialects.

Amaroo, also called "Ivory's Rock Conference Centre," is one of the only Knowledge Centres in the world.

Amaroo is an amazing place – 800 hectares of bush and parkland where four species of wallaby roam freely and more than 100 species of birds can be spotted.

But it is much more than that…

Maharaji has been a frequent invited guest speaker since the conference centre opened in 1992 and his presence has helped to make it known worldwide.

More than 40,000 people have traveled from 60 countries to hear him speak here, and have stayed at Amaroo’s beautiful, well-equipped campgrounds. The last international event in September 2007 attracted nearly 3300 guests from 62 countries - most of whom stayed on site.

Year round, people interested in Maharaji’s message attend retreats, watch his latest DVDs in the Hall, and volunteer to help beautify this wonderful natural place.

Events are held regularly, where people come to hear about Maharaji for the first time.

Opportunities to learn more about Maharaji’s techniques for finding peace within are frequently available on-site.

Amaroo is a unique experience.  You will be amazed.
